2027 Toyota Corolla Cross Drops Entry Hybrid Trim, Starts at $31,415
Toyota’s October 2, 2026 U.S. announcement narrows the 2027 Corolla Cross Hybrid range to SE and XSE, removing the S grade. The manufacturer expects dealership arrivals this fall and says the remaining lineup largely carries over.
The starting-price comparison needs context

These prices exclude Toyota’s dealer processing and handling fee. Gas versions also offer all-wheel drive; their grades are L, LE and XLE. All figures above come from Toyota.
The $5,880 gap between those entry prices is not a clean measure of the cost of hybrid technology: it compares different equipment grades and drivetrains. A useful shopping comparison would put the Hybrid SE beside a similarly equipped gas AWD vehicle, then include fees, options and the dealer’s actual selling price.
What to confirm before ordering
Ask for the vehicle identification number, exact grade, delivery estimate and itemized total. A national fall arrival plan cannot establish availability at a particular dealer. Bring the same cargo or child-seat checklist to each test drive so that a powertrain choice does not obscure whether the vehicle fits your household.
