Keagan Masters Wins Carrera Cup Deutschland Title After Hockenheim Recovery

Keagan Masters secured the 2026 Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Deutschland championship at Hockenheim on October 11, finishing ninth in a finale shaped by changing track conditions. Porsche’s official report lists him on 230 points, ahead of Flynt Schuring on 216 and Theo Oeverhaus on 204.

The race winner and champion were different drivers

Niels Langeveld won for Laptime-Performance, leading teammate Sebastian Freymuth and GP Elite’s Wouter Boerekamps. Their team began on slick tires while most competitors initially chose wet-weather tires after rain.

As the circuit dried, late changes to slicks sent Masters and Schuring into pit-lane starts. Both then lost ground in separate incidents before recovering to ninth and twelfth respectively. Masters therefore secured the season title without needing to win the final race.

Proton completes a double

Porsche reports that Masters took eight podiums, including two victories, in his first season in the championship. Proton Competition also won the teams’ classification with 396 points against Schumacher CLRT’s 349.

Chester Kieffer claimed the rookie title on 298 points, and Michael Essmann won ProAm with 333. The series recorded nine different race winners across its 16-round season.

The result resolves the championship fight described in our Hockenheim finale preview. A season table and an individual race result answer different questions: the last race rewarded Langeveld’s tire choice, while the accumulated points rewarded Masters.
